The
E-Government Program Executive Committee (EGPEC) formed in Year 2001 replaced
the e-Government Interim Committee formed previously in Year 2000 before the
formation of the BIT Council. The members of the EGPEC consist of the Permanent
Secretaries of all government ministries.

The E-Government Program Executive Committee (EGPEC) specific Terms of Reference (TOR) are to prioritize and implement the E-Government initiatives. These include to appraise, study and |
further propose the
steps to implement
the e-Government program including preparing specific Plan of Action towards
attaining the mission of the program fully within five years from now. This
provide the impetus to advance IT diffusion in the public service, and advance
the development of e-related services or activities currently being undertaken
by various ministries and government agencies in Brunei Darussalam
